What is Branding?
Branding is the careful selection and use of trademarks, images, names, and messages
Branding is the most powerful tool a company can have in the commercial world.
A Brand is more than a "name, term, sign, symbol or design, or combination of them intended to identify the goods and services of one seller or group of sellers and to differentiate them from those of competition".
A Brand is a personality all unto itself.
A Brand is a mixture of attributes, tangible and intangible, symbolized in a trademark, which, if managed properly, creates value and influence.
The main objective in developing a Corporate Brand is to build a relationship with buyers, rather than make a single sale.
The essence of that relationship is based on strong bond between the buyer and the Brand.
The goal is to build the relationship between the customer and the brand:
Linking the company to a particular need, appealing to subconscious motives.
Conditioning buyers/ to prefer the brand through reward, in order to create preference.
The strategy chosen to achieve this end depends mainly on the nature of the branded name, product, or service.
The success of a strategy depends heavily on the understanding of customer preference building and bonding processes.
